Common Sales Mistakes Business Women Make

wondered why the ever-impatient web surfers seem to be
browsing through but rarely buy. Some of them even post
some rave reviews but still don’t hit the check-out
button? It
could a lot of things that you have no control on, however,
if it is any of the things that you DO have a control
on, it would be a problem, wouldn’t it?
Here
could be some of the reasons why your customers seem to
be refraining from putting their money on you:
1.
Just can’t find the information: you build
a website they can’t browse through or perhaps you
had designed everything in flash making it load a year
later than it should, your clients just wouldn’t
have the patience to see the fancy graphics and your great
design. They need information. You don’t have it,
you lose it.
2.
Not easy to buy: You have products that need
to be shipped and you haven’t included the shipping
costs? You included them but charged way too much for
it? You haven’t enabled sufficient number of payment
modes? Not everyone is comfortable with credit cards,
is that your only option? Not giving the customer the
flexibility to buy as he wants to can hurt your business. |

3.
Shoddy Customer Service: You see, if there could be
one thing that that has the potential to differentiate you from
your competitors and is still somewhat inexpensive than resorting
to anything fancy, it is excellent customer service. It has
to be taken to a point that borders on the schizophrenic. Paranoid
customer service is the name of the game and there are simply
no excuses to be made on this one.
4.
Bad Website Design: Nothing puts a customer off more
than a website that could pass off as a document a naughty kid
had apparently dabbled with, bored with his classes at school.
You see, your website is the face of your business and given
that you are online, it is all the more important.
5.
Non-persuasive Copy: When a customer lands on a page,
he just needs a single excuse to run away from it. If you succeed
in giving him that, you lose the battle, don’t you? Persuasive
copy basically reeks of salesman ship. If you don’t have
it on there, of if you had tried to hire a cheap copywriter
to do the pitching for you, you would just get what you had
paid for. It is suggested that you ramp up the sales copy and
see the sales flowing in and conversions going through the roof.
Pay
attention, learn, make money.
